MATCH PREVIEW: FROME TOWN VS EXMOUTH TOWN

Exmouth Town will look to build on Wednesday’s win against Crediton United as they head to Badgers Hill, to take on Frome Town in the Southern League Division One South on Saturday.

It will be another tough test away from home, as The Robins currently sit just a position below Town in fourth place, with only a point between them.

THE OPPOSITION

Long time members of the Southern League, Frome have had a great start to the season, and find themselves battling for a return to the Southern Premier South.

Similar to Exmouth, their last league game resulted in a 4-0 defeat, so they will be looking to bounce back and recapture the form that has helped them get to fourth position.

PRE-MATCH CHAT

Shortly after the Crediton win, manager Kevin Hill said:

“I feel a lot better after that win, I know we can go there and get beat, but we also could win.

They will have something to prove having just lost 4-0 to Tavistock, so they will be wanting to come out firing, but they will also be worried about losing again, they won’t want to slip up again at home.

It adds some pressure for them.

We’ve had three defeats in the league, but we were still second until recently, which shows how good our start had been.”
