MATCH PREVIEW: EXMOUTH TOWN VS BASHLEY
Exmouth Town will be looking to get back to winning ways this Saturday, as they welcome Bashley FC to the Circle of Care Community Stadium in the Southern League Division One South.
Town are coming off the back of a 1-0 defeat against Frome Town, where centre-back Dave Rowe played 75 minutes in goal, following an injury to Robbie Powell early in the game.
Just one point and position separates the two sides, as they both look to enter the top 5 with a win on the 19th.
Bashley have enjoyed a solid return to life in the Southern League Division One South, following their promotion from the Wessex League Premier Division last season.
Currently sat in 7th, the Bash will be hoping to continue their great form, having won three games on the spin, against Cinderford, Paulton and Melksham.
The club have undergone a slight change over the recent weeks, with manager Paul Morris resigning two weeks ago, but interim head coach and former Crawley and Portsmouth striker Matt Tubbs stepping up as interim manager, with former Exeter City striker Craig McAllister joining as a player-coach.
Speaking shortly after the Frome Town game, manager Kevin Hill said: “We’ve lost four league games on the trot so we are in a bit of a rut, it is what it is, we go again next week.
“We will approach it like always, smile on our faces.
