MATCH PREVIEW: EXMOUTH TOWN VS HAMWORTHY UNITED
Exmouth Town will look to end a very successful 2022 at the Circle of Care Community Stadium, as they take on Hamworthy United in the Southern League Division One South.
Town are coming off the back of a 2-0 defeat away to Bristol Manor Farm, and welcome an in-form Hamworthy side who currently sit one position above Exmouth, in fourth place.
The Hammers have established themselves as one of the strongest outfits in the league this season, despite losing their previous manager Tim Sills to Wimborne in early October.
Since then, Dan Cann was appointed as manager and he has kept the good times rolling at the Sunseeker International County Ground, as Hamworthy are yet to lose in the league since his arrival.
This run has seen United convincingly beat Bishops Cleeve, as well as score wins against Bideford and Evesham, so Cann’s side will be full of confidence heading into this Saturday.
Speaking shortly after the Bristol Manor Farm game, manager Kevin Hill said: “If we get anything at home, if we are sitting top four, top five going into Christmas, you’ve got to look at what a great start we have had.
I didn’t know what it was going to be like coming into this league, and as you can see everybody can beat everyone.”
