MATCH PREVIEW: PAULTON ROVERS VS EXMOUTH TOWN
Exmouth Town will make their first trip of 2023 this Saturday, as they travel down to the First 4 Pools Stadium to take on Paulton Rovers in the Southern League Division One South.
Town are coming off the back of two consecutive draws, and will want to start the new year with a win against a strong Paulton side who come into the game in good form.
The Robins have enjoyed a strong festive period, with three wins on the bounce, scoring eight goals and only conceding one, which has propelled them into 8th in the table.
Having won nine and lost eight games out of 19, Paulton do not tend to leave games level, so Saturday has all the potential to be a thriller.
However, Town will be hoping for a repeat of their first clash this season, where goals from Levi Landricombe and Jordan Harris fired Exmouth to a 2-0 win.
Speaking after the Willand game, Exmouth Town manager Kevin Hill said: “It’s always tough up there at Paulton, I remember playing there at Tiverton and they will want their revenge.
I’ll look at that, we aren’t the best travellers on the road, but I’ll make sure everyone comes out alright, no injuries and go again next week.”
Paulton play their football at the First 4 Pool Stadium, which is addressed at:
