MATCH PREVIEW: EXMOUTH TOWN VS LARKHALL ATHLETIC

Exmouth Town will be looking to score their first Southern League Division One South win of 2023, as they welcome Larkhall Athletic to the Circle of Care Community Stadium this Saturday.

Following a disappointing 1-0 defeat away to Paulton Rovers, Town will want to bounce back with a win against a Larkhall side who have not lost since their previous meeting with Exmouth.

THE OPPOSITION

Larkhall have enjoyed a resurgence in form as of late, going three games unbeaten against tough opposition in Tavistock, Westbury United and Frome Town.

The last time they tasted defeat was due to an Ace High header, as Town came out victorious at Plain Ham, in what was an intense game, with some heroic defending keeping The Larks from finding an equaliser.

Ollie Price’s side will be hoping to continue their good form as they continue to rise up the table, and also get a little bit of revenge on Town.

PRE-MATCH CHAT

Speaking shortly after the Paulton defeat, Exmouth Town manager Kevin Hill said: “We are a lot stronger at home, they’ve picked up recently, we just hope we can turn up on the day and get some points.”
