MATCH PREVIEW: EXMOUTH TOWN VS FROME TOWN

Exmouth Town will be looking to end their recent downturn in form as they welcome Frome Town to the Circle of Care Community Stadium in the Southern League Division One South this Saturday (3pm KO).

Following two straight defeats, Exmouth have not enjoyed a particularly strong start to 2023, but Kevin Hill’s side will want to put that right ahead of Saturday’s game.

THE OPPOSITION

Currently sat in 10th, Frome have only played once in the new year, but they have also faced struggles in their recent games, currently winless in 4 including a gutting 2-2 draw against Larkhall, in which they lead 2-0 until the 84th minute.

It was the Robins who tasted victory the last time these two sides met, as Samuel Teale made the difference in a chaotic game, where an early injury to Robbie Powell lead to captain Dave Rowe having to go in goal for the majority of the game, with the latter also getting sent off moments after the final whistle.

Following a really frustrating set of encounters with AFC Totton, which saw Frome make the long trip to Southampton twice, just to see the both games called off upon arrival, Danny Greaves’ side are going to be raring to go and get back to winning ways.
