MATCH PREVIEW: EXMOUTH TOWN VS TIVERTON TOWN

Exmouth Town will look to get into the St Luke’s Devon Bowl semi-final tonight (7:30pm KO), as they welcome Tiverton Town to the Circle of Care Community Stadium.

In the last of four consecutive home games, Town will be hoping to cause an upset against the Southern League Premier South outfit.

THE OPPOSITION

Tiverton currently sit in 12th in their league, and are currently on a mixed run of form, scoring impressive wins but not going on a strong run of form

Tivvy have won two of their last six, with wins against Dorchester Town and Chesham United, but their inconsistent nature has led to them also picking up defeats against the Metropolitan Police and Bracknell Town.

Exmouth will know full well what Tiverton are capable of, having played them in pre-season, and losing 5-1 at Ladysmead, so Town will be hoping to come away this time with a better result.

PRE-MATCH CHAT

Speaking shortly after the Bristol Manor Farm game game, assistant manager Andy Rawlings said: “We are going to rotate the squad a bit, give the lads that are on the fringe a game, it’s a good opportunity to try something a bit different.”
