Exmouth Town manager Kevin Hill was disappointed with his side’s performance as they were held to a 1-1 draw at the Circle of Care Community Stadium against Bideford A.F.C, in the Southern League Division One South.

Ethan Slater opened the scoring for Town, finishing a counter attack that he started, but Bideford were given a perfect opportunity to equalise as Robbie Powell brought down Aaron Taylor in the box, and Charlie Madden subsequently converted the penalty.

“You hope to win, but you sort of know what the game was going to be like, and it wasn’t a very good game for both sides,” Kevin said.“They’ve got a lot more to lose than us, they haven’t gained any ground on us, but from being 1-0 up at half time, we were flat all over.I appreciate we played a game Saturday and so did Bideford, and we had lads carrying niggles, but they’ve being playing through for me, we even had subs on the bench that were named but they were never coming on.(Ethan Slater) He was my man of the match, I think he was everyone’s man of the match, he’s come in the last two games and played superbly, and he got his reward and he got his goal.”
