MATCH PREVIEW: EXMOUTH TOWN VS SHOLING

Exmouth Town will look to end a successful 22/23 campaign on a high as they take on play-off bound Sholing, at the Circle of Care Community Stadium.

Town have enjoyed a successful season in the Southern League Division One South, comfortably sitting clear of relegation, and they are set to earn their highest ever league finish, regardless of Saturday’s result.

THE OPPOSITION

Sholing have spent most of their season in a title race with AFC Totton, fighting for the one automatic spot in the table, which unfortunately for the Boatmen was won by the latter.

They have had a tremendous season, and will be considered the favourites heading into this year’s play-offs, and they will arrive in Exmouth in mixed form, having drew with Bashley before thrashing Tavistock, but they were recently beat by Larkhall, so Sholing will be looking to take out their frustration on Town.

The last time these two sides met, Sholing took Town apart at the Imperial Homes Stadium, with goals from Wayne Robinson, Daniel Mason, Bradley Targett and Jake Cope condemning Exmouth to a 4-0 defeat.
