MATCH PREVIEW: EXMOUTH TOWN VS BIDEFORD AFC

Exmouth Town will look to score their first win of the 23/24 season on Bank Holiday Monday as they welcome Bideford AFC to the Circle of Care Community Stadium.

Both teams come into the game with identical records, two draws and one defeat, with the two teams hoping too add a victory to their collection.

THE OPPOSITION

Just like Exmouth, the Robins are coming off their first league defeat of the season, having been beaten 3-0 at home to Westbury United, having previously drew with both Bristol Manor Farm and Malvern Town.

Bideford have enjoyed a strong start in the FA Cup, beating Wellington and Helston Athletic to put themselves into the first qualifying round, and will be looking to take their cup form into the Southern League Division One South.

PRE-MATCH CHAT

Speaking shortly after the Melksham game, Exmouth Town manager Kevin Hill said:

“Any game at home you are feeling confident, it depends on how the lads respond to today, if they get their heads down and feel sorry for themselves, or they get back on the coach and have a beer, they’ll know if they worked hard in the second half.

Sparky (Mark Lever) will play Monday, Brad (Cox) and Ace (High) will be coming back, so some fresh legs for us.

The lads can’t moan if they get left out on Monday.”
