MATCH PREVIEW: EXMOUTH TOWN VS WIMBORNE TOWN

Exmouth Town will look to advance in the FA Trophy as they welcome Wimborne Town to the Circle of Care Community Stadium in the First Qualifying Round.

Town enjoyed their first win of the 2023/24 season last Friday, as they beat Tavistock AFC 2-0 at Langsford Park, and now hope to continue their cup success in a different competition.

THE OPPOSITION

Saturday’s fixture will be a battle between two Torquay legends, as Kevin Hill takes on Tim Sills, who is the current Wimborne manager, and his side sit in third place in the Southern League Division One South.

The two sides have already met this season, with Exmouth earning a superb point at the RoyaleLife Stadium, with Ace High putting Town ahead, before Sam Jackson fired the hosts level.

The Magpies are fresh off a 1-0 win against Tiverton Town in the FA Cup, which has led to a 2nd Qualifying Round draw against Torquay United, and they have yet to lose in all competitions this season.
