MATCH PREVIEW: KIDLINGTON VS EXMOUTH TOWN

Exmouth Town will look to advance to the third qualifying round of the FA Trophy as they make the journey to Oxfordshire, to take on Kidlington at Yarnton Road.

Town are hoping to continue their strong cup form, where they have won two games on the spin, beating Tavistock in the Devon Bowl, and Wimborne via penalties to earn the fixture against Kidlington.

THE OPPOSITION

Kidlington play their football in the Southern League Division One Central, and currently sit in 14th, after a mixed start to the season.

The Greens had a difficult first few games, but have turned it around with wins against Thame United and North Leigh, as well as a draw against Kings Langley last weekend.

PRE-MATCH CHAT

Speaking shortly after the Willand game, Kevin Hill said: “I look at it as a free hit, just go and enjoy it.

I don’t know a whole lot about them but sometimes that’s better, just go up there and give it our best.

If we win it will be a great day, sometimes you can read too much into the other teams, you can try to suss them out but if your own team doesn’t do what you want them to do, it makes no difference.”
