Exmouth Town will look to get back to winning ways, as they travel to Kayte Line to take on Bishops Cleeve, in the Southern League Division One South this Saturday.

Coming off the back of a tough 4-0 home defeat to Bemerton Heath Harlequins, Town need to channel their frustrations from that game into a positive performance, and earn their first league win of the season.

Currently sat in seventh place, Bishops Cleeve have enjoyed a good start to the season, and will be hoping for that to continue on Saturday.

Wins over Bemerton Heath Harlequins, Evesham United and a superb 6-1 win against Paulton Rovers in the FA Trophy, show that Paul Colicutt’s team are going to be a real test for Town.

Speaking shortly after last Wednesday’s fixture, manager Kevin Hill said: “I just want a reaction, I just want a performance, if the lads give us a performance then I can’t ask for no more, even if we come up on the wrong end of it, if the lads give a decent performance, turn up and give 110% then I can’t ask for any more.

Don’t get me wrong everyone tries, but we’ve got to have a bit of quality on the ball, and the final third decision making, we’ve got to put the game to bed when we have chances, but that will come.”
