Exmouth Town manager Kevin Hill reflected on his side’s 3-2 defeat against Bristol Manor Farm, at the Circle of Care Community Stadium.

Town put in an improved performance, but two goals from Nelson Iseguan were not enough as a brace from Evander Grubb and a Jayden Nielsen strike secured a win for the visitors.

“At the end of the day, we aren’t getting the rub of the green, fair play to Manor Farm, after we scored the first goal, they forced a few issues and they could have gone in two or three up, Andy (Sowden-Bird) kept us in it.

“We got the goal, and then for some reason we just drop off, half hearted pressing, half hearted chasing around, and then we almost wait for somebody to get an equaliser and then we again.

“We need more of players gambling, getting across the front post, it doesn’t happen for us, balls into the box, getting across the front post and causing them problems, it can go anywhere then, but we are starting to shake things up, things get stale and the same things happen, the same results happen.

“It’s not going to gel straight away, but the lads have got to do their bit, and to be fair even though we’ve come out with two losses, but we are still in the race.”
