A frustrated Kevin Hill reflected on Exmouth Town’s 1-1 draw against Westbury United, as the wait for a Southern League Division One South home win continues.

Tom Bath opened his account for Town in the first half, but a feisty second 45 saw Aarron Denny dismissed, and the visitors took advantage of the man advantage, as Ricky Hulbert fired in a late equaliser.

“The lads put a shift in, I can’t complain about the lads performance, they were excellent, even when we went down to ten men against 13/14.

“I’m not taking anything away from our lot, considering we are bottom of the league, fighting for our lives, I thought the lads put a big shift in.

“That’s the luck that can change our season, that can get us up and running, why can’t we have that deflected goal bouncing off the crossbar and back off the keeper, that’s what we want as that has been going against us.

“I thought Nelson (Iseguan) was excellent, looked a threat, Louis (Morison) was outstanding, Denny as well, coming back to his old self, and we had spells even with ten men.”
