MATCH PREVIEW: LARKHALL ATHLETIC VS EXMOUTH TOWN

Exmouth Town will look to build on their midweek win against Cullompton Rangers, as they travel to Plain Ham to take on Larkhall Athletic in the Southern League Division One South, this Saturday.

Having drew 1-1 Westbury last weekend, Town are starting to grow momentum and can close the gap between them and the teams outside the relegation zone to just two points.

THE OPPOSITION

Larkhall Athletic currently sit in 16th place in the league, but it should be noted that they have only played eight games this season, so this may be a false position for the Larks.

While they haven’t played for almost three weeks, Ollie Price’s side are currently on a three game unbeaten run in the league, beating Mousehole and Melksham, while drawing with Willand.

PRE-MATCH CHAT

Speaking after the Cullompton win, manager Kevin Hill said: “We won up there last year, and sometimes I don’t know what to expect myself.

We turn up at these places, at Bishops Cleeve people wrote us off, but we went on to win, people will write us off but we will go on to do something.

We can’t seem to get a win at home, last minute goals but away from home might be a blessing in disguise, it might take a bit of the pressure off.”
