MATCH PREVIEW: FROME TOWN VS EXMOUTH TOWN

Exmouth Town will look to cause an upset this Saturday, as they travel to Badgers Hill to take on Frome Town, in the Southern League Division One South.

Town are boosted by the arrival of former Bridgwater manager Dave Pearse to boost the coaching team, and they will need to put in a strong performance to beat the Robins.

THE OPPOSITION

Currently in 4th, Frome Town will be hoping to continue their promotion push and have had a good run as of late, not losing in their last three league games, as well as scoring a superb shock cup victory, as they beat National League South side Worthing in the FA Trophy.

Danny Greaves’ team have had some superb results in the league as well, beating Paulton 7-2, and beating Willand 3-0.

PRE-MATCH CHAT

Speaking after the Cribbs game, manager Kevin Hill said: “I think they are one of the better teams in this league, and on paper we should get beat.

But sometimes you go to these places, and turn up, like (vs Cribbs) how we turned up today against these, and they are second.

Frome beat Worthing the other day in the cup, they are doing well and flying high, but let’s make a shock, they’ll be expecting to turn us over.”
