A disappointed Kevin Hill gave his thoughts on a poor Exmouth Town performance, as they were beaten 1-0 by fellow strugglers Bashley.

Lewis Ross’ second half free-kick made the difference, as Town failed to take their chances in the first 45.

“I’m massively disappointed, especially the way we lost it, these are the games that we’ve got to be taking by the scruff of the neck.

We had a couple of chances in the first half, but if you don’t get in the box you don’t score, that felt like their first proper effort on goal from the free kick, it goes in.

Tom Gardner, 42 years old, he kept trying, putting blocks in, Mikey (Landricombe), the old boys at the back, Joe (Belsten) ratting away in midfield, and Jacob as well, but some of the boys that have been with me long enough, they were half-hearted.

We will turn up at Bideford and give it a go, we will be underdogs, not expecting much, but we have a performance in us like we had at Evesham.”
