Exmouth Town start their FA Cup journey this Saturday, as they welcome Southern League Division One Central side Kidlington to the Complete Infrastructure Stadium.

In a direct rematch from last year’s competition, Town will be looking to get revenge after losing to the Greens last season.

THE OPPOSITION

It’s not been a great start to the season for Kidlington, who sit in 18th, without a league win.

They do have a cup victory, having beaten Tuffley Rovers 3-0 in the FA Cup, before being knocked out by Southern League Division One South leaders Yate Town in the next round.

Exmouth will know some of the strengths that Kidlington possess, but the Greens will be looking to get their season kickstarted with a win in the South West.

PRE MATCH CHAT

Joint manager Dave Pearse spoke after the Yate game: “We’ll have the week off, and recover, then hopefully start a run in the Trophy.

“The important thing is we get another win, and start another run.”
