Exmouth Town will look to make it eight games unbeaten in the Southern League Division One South, as they welcome Willand Rovers to the Complete Infrastructure Stadium on Wednesday (7:45pm KO).

After a tough 1-0 win against Westbury, Town remain in second place, only three points behind league leaders Yate Town.

THE OPPOSITION

Willand currently find themselves sat in 14th, after what has been a mixed start to the season, with a good FA Trophy run mixed in, which was ended with defeat to National League North side Oxford City.

With two wins in their last six, Rovers have proven themselves as a good team in the league albeit inconsistent, beating Tavistock 1-0, and thrashing Evesham 4-0 away from home.

PRE-MATCH CHAT

Speaking after the Westbury game, joint-manager Dave Pearse said: “I don’t think it will be much different from today, it will be a bit of a war, the pitch is starting to cut up and get a bit heavier.

It’s a derby and the form table goes out of the window, but in the dressing room, we are hungry at the moment so hopefully we’ll be on it and get the win.”
