Exmouth Town will look to get back to winning ways at the Complete Infrastructure Stadium on Saturday, as they welcome Bemerton Heath Harlequins.

After two late defeats, Town will take heart from their improved performance against Bristol Manor Farm, and aim to stay in second in the Southern League Division One South.

THE OPPOSITION

Bemerton Heath have had a good start to the season, currently sitting in 10th in the league.

Their recent form would sum their position up, with a mixture of results including plenty of good ones, with wins against Thatcham, Helston and Tavistock, alongside a draw against Melksham.

Exmouth will want to avenge their home defeat to the Harlequins last season, as they were thrashed 4-0 in a miserable midweek clash.

PRE-MATCH CHAT

Speaking after the Bristol Manor Farm game, joint-manager Dave Pearse said: “It’s about bouncing back, we haven’t been great at home in the last few games.

I’m hoping today’s defeat will spark us on because we played well today.

We need to be on the front foot at home, might have to change a few things up, but we’ll go into it like any other game and try to win.”
