Exmouth Town have their final game of 2024 when they take on local rivals Bideford, at the Complete Infrastructure Stadium, in the Southern League Division One South.

After a superb 2-1 win away at Helston, Town will aim to finish a superb year in second place with a win this weekend.

THE OPPOSITION

Bideford have had a tough first half of the season, after narrowly missing out on the playoffs last year, with Shaun Joyce’s side currently in 15th.

The Robins earned an important win against Willand on Boxing Day, and have generally been on an upwards curve as of late, winning four out of their last five.

Both sides met at the Sports Ground earlier this season, with Town putting in a great performance to win 2-0.

PRE-MATCH CHAT

Speaking after the win against Helston, joint-manager Dave Pearse said: “It’s going to be similar to today, a heavy pitch, Bideford are renowned for being direct and trying to play in your half.

With the quick turnaround, we will make some changes because the lads have grafted hard today, but it will be another battle that we will look forward too.”
