MATCH PREVIEW: EXMOUTH TOWN VS CINDERFORD TOWN

Exmouth Town will look to build on last Saturday’s home win against Tavistock, when they welcome Cinderford Town to the Complete Infrastructure Stadium on Wednesday (7:45pm KO).

Despite being the bottom side in the league, Cinderford have hit some good form as of late, so Town will have to be at their best to ensure they leave with all three points.

THE OPPOSITION

Newly promoted Cinderford have found life tough since returning to the Southern League Division One South, as they currently sit bottom of the table, albeit with as many as three games in hand on some of the teams above them.

After losing three in a row, Christmas proved to be a good time for the Foresters, as they were able to earn a point away at Malvern and score a superb 3-2 win against promotion-chasing Melksham.

PRE-MATCH CHAT

Speaking after the Tavistock game, joint-manager Kevin Hill said: “They haven’t played today so they will be a bit fresher, and it depends how they travel midweek, I haven’t looked at the weather so I don’t know what the conditions will be like.

At the end of the day, it’s on us, they might come in a sit in, they might have a go, who knows.”
