MATCH PREVIEW: WILLAND ROVERS VS EXMOUTH TOWN
Exmouth Town will make the short journey to Silver Street on Saturday, as they take on Willand Rovers in the Southern League Division One South.
With two home wins in a row, Exmouth will look to mix that upturn in form with their already strong away presence, and avenge the earlier defeat to Rovers.
THE OPPOSITION
It has been a mixed season so far for David Steele’s side, who currently occupy 15th position in the league, with inconsistency being the main problem for them.
They have displayed this by earning big wins against Cinderford and Helston, but following both of those up with 1-0 defeats to Bideford and Falmouth.
Town will need to be better then they were when the two teams met earlier this season, as a late Finlay Rooke goal saw Willand grab a deserved victory in a 2-1 win.
PRE-MATCH CHAT
Speaking after the Cinderford game, joint-manager Dave Pearse said: “We owe ourselves one after our performance against them earlier in the season, that’s nothing against Willand as they were brilliant when they come up here.
We owe them one and we will hopefully take our momentum with us.”
