Exmouth Town will look to build on last Saturday’s dramatic win against Bristol Manor Farm, when they head to the A-Class Arena to take on Bemerton Heath Harlequins.

With both teams looking to be in the play-off places at the end of the season, this will be a massive game in the Southern League Division One South.

THE OPPOSITION

Bemerton have enjoyed an excellent season so far, and currently sit in seventh, just one point below Malvern Town, who occupy that last play-off slot.

Luke Platt’s side have been in good form as of late, with a heavy defeat away at Melksham the only blemish on a run that includes a 7-0 win against Bristol Manor Farm.

The two sides are yet to meet this season, but the last time Exmouth played at the A-Class Arena, they earned a 3-0 win which pushed them even closer to the ‘Great Escape’.

PRE-MATCH CHAT

Speaking after the Bristol Manor Farm game, joint-manager Kevin Hill said: “We know it’s going to be tough, they’ve picked up a lot in the last couple of months.

If we are just ourselves, we get there and do what we are good at, we know we can go there on the day and get a result, but also if we don’t then we know what could happen.

Games like today (Bristol Manor Farm) gives everyone a lift, stopping that little side, beating a bogey team, but we see it as three points, just keeping it ticking.

They (Bemerton) will be big favourites at home, but if we turn up, a point is a point but we will be trying to get a win.”
