The run-in continues to heat up for Exmouth Town, as they travel to the Spiers & Hartwell Stadium to take on title-chasing Evesham United this Saturday.

A win for Exmouth could see them return to the Southern League Division One South play-offs, while a victory for the Robins may see them go top.

THE OPPOSITION

Evesham have been in fantastic form this season, and have emerged as title contenders following Yate’s stuttering form.

Currently in second place, Mike Ford’s side are unbeaten in seven games, winning six of them, beating the likes of Yate, Falmouth and an in-form Tavistock.

The last time Exmouth visited the Spiers & Hartwell Stadium, they earned a 4-2 win which helped kickstart the ‘great escape’.

PRE-MATCH CHAT

Speaking after the Bishops Cleeve game, joint-manager Kevin Hill said: “When you’ve had a lost like today, you go to somewhere like Evesham who are flying, and the pressure will be off us.

People will expect them to spank us, and suddenly we will turn up, when we feel underestimated.”
