Exmouth Town will look to build on their first point of the season, as they host Bristol Manor Farm at the Complete Infrastructure Stadium, on Bank Holiday Monday.

It is a quick turnaround for Town, who battled to a 0-0 draw away at Melksham Town, with Manor Farm having the same outcome, in a 1-1 game at home to Didcot Town.

The Opposition

It has been a tough summer for the Portwaymen, having to rebuild following the departure of Lee Lashenko and deal with an unfortunate vandalism incident at their home ground.

This has perhaps rallied Manor Farm, as they have started the season under Will Justin, with a win, draw and loss each.

A fantastic 3-0 win against Willand Rovers has yet to be matched, but does bode well for a new-look side so early in the season.

Pre-Match Chat

Speaking after the Melksham game, joint-manager Kevin Hill said: “It’ll be a tough game, and we’ll try to get fresh legs for it.

They’ll be players on the bench who might start and vice versa, I think it was our downfall last Saturday (vs Buckland), we thought the team did really well on Wednesday (vs Portishead), and started the same team, then they looked a shadow of themselves.

So I think we will look to freshen it up on Monday.”
