Exmouth Town and Shaftesbury will do battle once again, as they meet at the Complete Infrastructure Stadium on Wednesday, in a FA Cup first qualifying round replay.

A dramatic late equaliser from the Rockies last Saturday meant an imminent rematch was set, with a home game against Frome Town awaiting the winner in the next round.

The Opposition

Shaftesbury have had a great start to the season, and will aim to continue that form in the FA Cup on Wednesday.

Far from their best on Saturday, the Rockies were frustrated by a well-organised Town backline, and will look to implement their passing style at the Complete Infrastructure Stadium.

Pre-Match Chat

Speaking after the Shaftesbury game, joint-manager Kevin Hill said:

“We will leave the grass longer so they won’t be able to pass it about as much!

It will be a really tough game, we will look to freshen things up but they will too.”
