Exmouth Town can make it three Southern League Division One South wins in a row as they host familiar opposition in Shaftesbury on Saturday, at the Complete Infrastructure Stadium.

Having already played twice in the FA Cup this season, the Rockies have got the upper hand on Town on penalties, but normal time has seen two draws, with both teams wanting to win all three points in the league.

The Opposition

Shaftesbury currently occupy a deceiving seventh place, as they are just four points away from top of the league Malvern, with two games in hand.

They have not played a league game for a number of weeks, instead having regular penalty shootouts in both the FA Cup and Trophy, losing out against Frome Town in the former but beating Falmouth Town in the latter.

A return to the Southern League will see them reignite their promotion hopes, having built one of the strongest sides in the division.
