Exmouth Town will look to make it six Southern League Division One South wins in a row, as they host Westbury United at the Complete Infrastructure Stadium this Saturday.

Both Town and United have had a strong start to the season, and can make it even better with a positive result this weekend.

The Opposition

The White Horse Men have only been beaten once in six games so far, having scored victories over Winchester City, Mousehole and Portishead Town.

Alongside a great Southern League start, Westbury had a superb FA Cup run, which saw them beat Yate Town and Oxford City, before a heart-breaking late defeat against Farnborough, which was shown live on BBC.

Ricky Hulbert will be looking for his side to push into the play-off places, and a win against Town, who occupy one of those positions, would build even more confidence within his team.

Pre-Match Chat

Speaking after the Tavistock game, joint-manager Kevin Hill said: “Next week at home to Westbury will be tough, they are flying.

They’ve got a brilliant team, and they just beat Mousehole, but we are at home so we will see what happens.”
