There is a midweek Devon Derby at the Complete Infrastructure Stadium on Wednesday evening, as Exmouth Town look to make it three Southern League Division One South wins in a row against Willand Rovers.

Town have won eight of their last nine games, and a win against a resurgent Willand side under new management, will see them continue to push for the top spot.

The Opposition

After a poor start to the season, Rovers have brought in Ben Watson from Street, and they have seen a turnaround in form under the former Exeter City striker.

Having won three of their last six, including wins against Frome Town and Hartpury, which shows a clear defiance to their league position of 17th.

Pre-Match Chat

Speaking after the Larkhall game, joint-manager Kevin Hill said: “They are coming here and they’ll play underdogs, under new management getting a great result against Hartpury.

We are on a high, so we’ve just got to make sure that we turn up.

It’s a derby, so form goes out the window, bottom can beat top and it’s often who wants it the most.”
