Exmouth Town will look to get back to winning ways on Saturday, as they head to Plain Ham to take on Larkhall AFC in the Southern League Division One South.

Following close defeats in the league and cup, Town face an in-form Larkhall side, who have won four straight games in the league.

The Opposition

The Larks have enjoyed a superb festive period, and come into the new year with a new manager in John Durbin, who came in as assistant manager at the start of the season.

Wins against Westbury, Bideford, Melksham and Bristol Manor Farm has seen them surge up to eighth in the league table, and they will want to extend that form on the weekend.

Pre-Match Chat

Speaking after the Plymouth Parkway game, joint-manager Dave Pearse said: “They are flying at the moment, they are just below us in the league so we have to turn up and do the right things.

We have to do the right things in both boxes, that’s been a bit of an in-house joke of us being ruthless in their box, and putting teams to bed, which we’ve struggled with at times.

Saturday is a good opportunity for us to pull away from them, it’s not all doom and gloom but we’ve got to put it right on Saturday.”
