Match Preview: Willand Rovers vs Exmouth Town

Exmouth Town will make the short trip to Silver Street this Saturday, as they prepare for a Devon Derby clash against Willand Rovers.

Following a 3-1 win against Falmouth Town, Exmouth will be aiming to get back to winning ways on the road against a Willand side looking to stay in the Southern League Division One South.

The Opposition

Currently sat in 19th, Rovers fans will be optimistic about their survival chances, with their side being only two points away from Falmouth, three from Bristol Manor Farm and four from Melksham Town.

Ben Watson’s team suffered heartbreak last time out, conceding a late equaliser to deny them of a win against Mousehole, and the general form has been mixed, with two wins, two draws and two defeats in their last six.

Two Ben Griffith goals saw Town draw 2-2 with Willand in the reverse fixture, with Harvey Dorothy and Ashton Hewitt scoring for the visitors.
