Exmouth Town kick off their bank holiday weekend in the FA Trophy as they travel to the KMM Energy Stadium, to take on Hartpury FC.

The game was relocated from Hartpury to Gloucester, but Exmouth will still be looking to keep their good start to the season rolling.

The Opposition

It has been a slower start for the Acorns in 26/27, having enjoyed a superb 25/26 in their first year at Southern League level.

A defeat at home to Cirencester in the FA Cup was followed up with a 4-1 defeat away at recently relegated Hungerford Town, with other teams FA Cup involvement meaning that they have only played twice in all competitions.

Hartpury used their possession style to great success last season, and showed on multiple occasions what they were capable of, and it will be no different on Saturday.

Pre-Match Chat

Speaking after the Bridgwater United game, manager Kevin Hill said: “We beat Hartpury up there last year, I know it’s changed to Gloucester, but we went away and did a job, then they come and beat us at home.

You never know as they are a University side, if they’ve kept some players from last year, got some new ones in, if they are better or worse I don’t know.”
