Exmouth Town face a tough test on Wednesday, as they welcome in-form Weymouth to the Search4Local Stadium, in the Southern League Division One South.

The Terras have hit the ground running since their relegation, having had an unbeaten start in 26/27, in all competitions, whilst Town will be aiming to bounce back from their first league defeat of the season against Dorchester Town.

The Opposition

It has been an impressive start from Weymouth, having only recently drawn their first league game, against fellow recently relegated side Hungerford Town.

Jamie Wells’ side have caused two upsets in cup competitions, beating Bath City away from home in the FA Cup, and they are coming off the back of a penalty shootout win away at Chippenham Town.

Pre-Match Chat

Speaking shortly after the Dorchester game, Kevin Hill said: “They are up there, the favourites to win it (the league).

We’ve got nothing to lose, so let’s go out and express ourselves, we can be a force, this was our first loss in the league this year.

Today we’ve hit the self-destruct button, and they will be expecting to come and turn us over.

I’m hoping we don’t shy away from the challenge and show what we can do.”
