Exmouth Town will look to get back to winning ways in the Southern League Division One South, as they travel to Meadow Lane to take on Westbury United this Saturday.

An injury-hit Town have suffered consecutive defeats against promotion favourites Dorchester Town and Weymouth, whilst Westbury are coming off their best win of the season so far, beating Swindon Supermarine 3-0.

The Opposition

It has been a solid start to the season for the White Horse Men, currently sat in 10th position. 

Having lost two league games on the bounce against Willand Rovers and Bideford, a point against Worcester Raiders put them on the right path to earn that big win against Swindon on Tuesday.

A familiar opposition for Town, it is always a close game against Westbury, and Saturday promises to be no different.

Speaking shortly after the Weymouth game, Kevin Hill said: “Hopefully no more injuries!

We’ve got to figure out what side we will have, and we know what to expect from them.

They’ll be tough, they’ll be awkward, it’s always a tight game, so we will have to roll our sleeves up and go again.

We’ve just played the two best sides in the league, got beat by both of them, which is not ideal, yes we were not full-strength but we’ve still got to regroup.

Hopefully we will be good enough to go again on Saturday.”
